1967
Estridge begins building custom homes in Indianapolis. The whole Estridge family helps in the business.

1970's
Estridge establishes a solid reputation for building the finest custom homes in the Indianapolis area.

1983
Paul Estridge, Jr. joins the family business and starts his own division, The Estridge Group, building smaller family homes. Copperfield, the first Estridge Group community, closes 72 homes the first year.

1985
Waterford, the second Estridge Group community opens.

1989
Estridge Development Company founded to provide land acquisition and development for Estridge.

1991
Estridge Mission Statement written by all employees. Click here to see mission statement.
The Parks at White River opens. Recognized by the Sierra Club for preservation of wooded land - one of the first master-planned communities in Indy.

1992
Paul Jr. purchases his father's original company, Paul E. Estridge Homes.

1994
Estridge Custom Homes founded.

1998
Estridge becomes the first Indiana builder to win the National Housing Quality Award, the most prestigious award in the homebuilding industry. Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith declares October 30th, "Estridge Day."

1999
Centennial opens, the largest community ever by Estridge. Modeled after a small New England village with the spirit of connecting neighbors with each other.

2000
Estridge introduces the HomeLife Maintenance & Reliability Program, becoming the only builder in the country providing homeowners with 3 years of scheduled maintenance and service.

2002
Estridge celebrates 35 years building homes in the Indianapolis area.

2003
Estridge builds our 6,000th home!

2005
Achieved 98% Willingness Referral Rate from an independent survey of Estridge homeowners.

2006
The Estridge Companies moves corporate offices to the Clay Terrace Lifestyle Center in Clay Terrace.

Estridge opens HOMExperience, the new 6,500 square feet Design Studio and Décor Store in Clay Terrace, providing Estridge homeowners and Clay Terrace shoppers the ability to fully make themselves a home from homeplan and homesite to finishings and furniture.

2007
Achieved 100% Willingness Referral Rate from an independent survey of Estridge homeowners.

Named to the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for "creating a productive environment in which employees feel valued".

Estridge receives the Best Design Center Whole-House Merchandising of Home Tech Options award at the Second Annual OTTO (Options Technology/Technology Options) Awards. The OTTO Awards were designed to recognize best practices among home builders and design centers successfully integrating technology into their design centers.

Paul E. Estridge Homes builds the City Homes Edition Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home in the Village of WestClay.

2008
Named to the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for "creating a productive environment in which employees feel valued".

2009
Named to the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for "creating a productive environment in which employees feel valued".

Led the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" build in Indianapolis with the Indianapolis community in building a new home for the McFarland Family and launching transformation of the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood.

The Indianapolis City-County Council proudly recognizes Paul Estridge, Jr. and Company for their contributions in revitalizing the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood through a partnership with "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" with an Indianapolis, Marion County Special Resolution.
